Patricia "Patty" Sue (Miller) Kempf

Patricia Sue Kempf, age 87, of Boonville, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born in Boonville, Missouri on October 27, 1937, the daughter of Lewis F. and Helen (Watson) Miller. 

Patty graduated from Boonville High School in 1955. She married Robert “Bob” Kempf, the love of her life, in the living room of their Priest’s home, on August 23, 1958, in Boonville, Missouri. They were married for 66 years at the time of her passing.

She began her secretarial career at McGraw Edison, and then at Boonslick Savings & Loan. She then retired in 1994 from the Boonville Superintendents office after 18 years. 

Pat was a member of the S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was active in assisting with the funeral meals. She enjoyed bowling, puzzles, playing bridge with her friends, reading and watching sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. She always commented that “Patrick Mahomes is my boyfriend, second to Bob!” She loved hunting morel mushrooms and especially eating them. Patty was a wonderful lady, a great mom and grandmother “Pat” and she loved spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband Robert “Bob” Kempf of Boonville; daughters: Christie (Hoke) Eichelberger, Donna (Jerry Lammers) Farmer of New Franklin; grandchildren: Robert Eichelberger, Adam (Johnna) Eichelberger, Caleb (Hannah) Farmer, Kendra (James Washington) Farmer; great grandchildren: Ashlin Wilson, Adel Eichelberger, Auric Eichelberger, Tyson Farmer, Renna Farmer, and River Washington. 

She was preceded in death by her parent: sister Judy Ann Miller and granddaughter Emily Farmer.  

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be held after the service at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to The Special Olympics of Mid-Missouri, S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or the Alzheimers Association.
