Phillip Lee Moore, 70, of Bunceton passed away Wednesday evening September 28, 2022, surrounded by his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation for Phillip will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday evening October 3rd at Howard Funeral Home. Per Phillips wishes he was cremated, and burial of his cremated remains will be at a later date.
Phillip Lee Moore was born October 23, 1951, in Tipton, MO., the son of Jefferson Thomas Moore and Georgia Mae Draffen Moore. He graduated from Bunceton High School. He married Lenancine Mae James on December 21, 1974, in Bunceton, MO. Phillip worked for Hall and Riley Quarries for years delivering rock all over the Boonslick area. His love for trucking showed as he later started his own trucking company. He loved to restore old cars especially Ford mustangs and always painted them red. He loved to go fishing and raising tomatoes in his garden. Phillip was a family man and loved having dinners with his family and grandkids.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgia, wife, Lenancine and brother, Rich Dick. He is survived by his daughter Stacey (Timothy) Moore-Hendren of Boonville, MO., son, Jeffery Lee Moore of Bunceton, MO., brothers, Russell Jefferson (Carolyn Frances Sexton) Moore of San Diego, CA., Ronnie (Juanita) Dick of Collins, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Caleb (Leila) Shay, Wyatt Shay, Lilli Moore, best buddy, Dennis Jones and fur baby, Quincy.
