Phyllis Marie (Rivers) Taylor

Phyllis Marie Taylor, 77, of Boonville, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born in Mexico, Missouri on November 6, 1948, the daughter of Ramon and Bettie Lou (Dollens) Rivers.

She was a seamstress for Artex Manufacturing in Boonville for many years. She also owned Homestyles, a home décor company, and was known for her cake decorating at IGA and for the last 23 years at Taylors’ Bake
Shop.

First and foremost, she loved her husband and her family. Her other passions were horses, gardening, sewing, baking, Bible study, music, politics, reading, and continually learning.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Ron Taylor of Boonville; her son Tim and wife Dawn Taylor of Bunceton, her daughter Teresa and husband Kyle Webster of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren: Carter Taylor, Chris Wright (Missie), Courtney Ivy (Brandon), Kylie Webster (Eric Seiffert); great grandchildren: Colin, Carson, Sophia, Addie, Kimberley, and Wyatt; her brother Rocky Rivers and his wife Susan of Columbia and sister-in-law Karen Allen of Mexico, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Debbie Jackson and Randy Rivers.

No services will be held at this time. Memorials are suggested to Riley Equine Center.
