Robert “Bob” James Carmichael, 99, of Boonville passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Katy Manor Care Center in Pilot Grove.
Private family graveside will be at a later date.
Robert James Carmichael was born February 9, 1924, the son of Wilbur and Loretta (Baker) Carmichael. Bob spent his whole life farming and the Agriculture Supply business. He married Audrey Carmichael in Boonville. Bob was a member of the Boonville Fire Department for 35 years, he was also a member of the Lions Club Optimist Club, Boonville Rod and Gun Club and the Knights of Pythius. He enjoyed traveling, especially his trips to Florida in the winter. Bob was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Loretta Carmichael, wife Audrey Carmichael, brother Ray Carmichael, sisters Mabel Bryan and Marie Carmichael. He is survived by his son Tim (Christi) Carmichael, daughter Bobbi (Stephen) Hiltibidal, grandchildren Aaron (Tiffany) Carmichael, Evan (Kaylee) Carmichael, Kate (Thad) Vessar, Paul (Lindsey) Hiltibidal, and Austin, Alyssa, and Addison Quinlan. He also leaves behind great grandchildren Lachlan and Reese Carmichael, Hannah, Andrew, Sarah, and Liam Vessar, Jilyanne, Alexandria, Gabriel, Ilianna, and Raphael Hiltibidal, and Blair Biggerstaff.
