Sharon Meyer was born February 4, 1939 in Boonville, Missouri, the daughter of Riley and Juanita (Zelno) Holland. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1957 and later from Christian College (Columbia College). Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Donald “Don” Meyer on November 27, 1960 in Boonville, Missouri. She was a highly respected legal secretary for many years for Conway and Blank Law Office in Boonville. She was a very involved and dedicated member of the Order of Eastern Star and Christ Episcopal Church, where they were united in marriage and later a faithful member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. In her spare time, she loved flower gardening and creating memorable embroidery keepsakes. She enjoyed the fellowship of her many friends. Above all, her family was the most important, especially any activity involving her three grandsons.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Juanita. She is survived by her husband Don of the home, son, Craig (Tammy) Meyer of Boonville; daughter, Cami Kuhns and sister, Kay (Dudley) Minor both of Liberty, MO. She will be dearly missed by her grandsons, Brenden and Aidan Meyer and Grayson Kuhns, her family and the many people who called her their friend.
