Steven Mark Schrader

Steven “Steve” Mark Schrader, 62, of Boonville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

A celebration of life will be held at Howard Funeral Home Friday, May 19, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A short service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  

Steven Mark Schrader was born April 19, 1961, at St. Joseph Hospital in Boonville, to Dean and Thelma Schrader who preceded him in death. Steve was a 1979 graduate of Boonville High School, playing football, was on the wrestling squad along with many summers of baseball. After graduation, he went to work for Ace Log and Lumber, eventually becoming a Lumber Inspector of Hardwood Lumber. Steve then went out on his own freelancing for different purchasers of Lumber in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska before getting into logging which is how he spent the rest of his working years. He loved the outdoors, watching wildlife and fishing. He was most passionate about music, playing with friends. He enjoyed going to numerous concerts and shooting the bull with friends.

He is survived by his brother Scott (Suzanne) of Boonville, his aunt Georgie Hubbard of Boonville and several cousins.
