Thelma G (Gregory) Schrader

Thelma G. Schrader, 82, of Boonville, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Ashley Manor Care Center.

A private family graveside service will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Thelma was born April 5, 1938 in Slater, Missouri, the daughter of Worden and Merle Gregory in Miami River Bottoms, North of Marshall. Thelma married Dean Schrader of Boonville July 9, 1960 and had two sons Steve and Scott. After attending Cosmetology School, Thelma started cutting hair in Boonville at Clayton’s on Main Street, before eventually having her own shop where she cut ad styled hair for many years. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Frank Potter Trucking till she retired. Thelma, growing up a farmer’s daughter always enjoyed the outdoors, especially her flowers as she was a Master gardener. Thelma like most moms was an incredible cook.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Edward, an infant sister Donna Lee and a brother-in-law George Hibbard. She is survived by her husband Dean, sons Steve and Scott and his wife Suzanne, sister Georgie Hibbard and niece Karen Johnston and nephew Jeffrey Hibbard.
