Virginia "Ginger" L. (Graves) Perkins

Virginia “Ginger” Louise Perkins, 65, of Boonville passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Visitation for Ginger will be at Howard Funeral Home Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with a short service to follow. Burial will be in Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery.

Virginia Louise Perkins was born June 19, 1956, the daughter of James Archie Graves and June Schnelbecker. Ginger married Willy Perkins November 24, 1972, in Boone County. Family was everything to Ginger and she would do anything for anyone. She had a heart of gold and always tried to see the good in people. Ginger enjoyed going camping, fishing, and doing crafts. Crafts were her favorite; she could think of an idea or see something then create it. She also like to take old furniture and refurbish it to make it her own. She was loved and will be so dearly missed.

Ginger is preceded in death by her parents James Graves and June Mading. She is survived by her husband Willy Perkins of Boonville, and sisters Twila (Howard) Turner of Glasgow and Valerie Graves of Boonville.
