William Mark Deckelman, 69, of Boonville passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital.

William Mark Deckelman was born March 30, 1954, the son of William Deckelman and Janelle Sigsby. Mark enjoyed traveling in his younger days and later loved various things. He enjoyed reading and watching science fiction, art, drawing, and loved his cats. Mark also loved music, not only listening to music but he wrote and recorded many of his own songs and specifically liked experimental music.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents William Valentine Deckelman and Janelle Sigsby Viertel. He is survived by his brother Lewis Paul (Pamela) Deckelman, sister Devora Gandy, niece Jori (Chris) Pate and nephew Justin (Rosemary) Gandy. He also leaves behind great nieces and nephews Jenna and Travis Pate, George Gandy III and Lily Gandy.
