William Herbert Dougan

William Herbert Dougan, 65, of Boonville formerly of Sedalia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his home.

A Celebration of life will be held July 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Tigg Home (603 Prairie Lane Columbia, MO 65202).

William Herbert Dougan was born March 17, 1956, in Wasco, California, the son of William Clark Dougan and Mildred Margaret (VanZant) Dougan. He graduated from Otterville High School May 14, 1974. William married Wendy Schutte on July 15, 1989, in Chilhowie, Missouri. He was an over the road truck driver for years. William enjoyed hunting and having a drink with friends. He was a good ol’ boy and would do anything he could for someone who needed help. He will be dearly missed.

William is preceded in death by his parents William and Mildred Dougan, and sister Carolyn Paulette Bell. He is survived by his wife Wendy Dougan of Boonville, son Brad Dougan of Boonville, daughter Suzzanne Cathlynn Marie (Cameron) Tigg of Columbia, brothers Vernon Carol (Susan) Dougan and Zackary Finus Dougan of Sedalia, grandchildren Savannah Lenn, Sidney Gene, Kimberly Gwen, and Kadence Marie and numerous nieces and nephews.
