William Russell Spurling

William Russell Spurling, 67, of Bunceton passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at his home in Bunceton Missouri.

Family held a private graveside service with military honors on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

William R. Spurling was born May 18, 1951 in Aberdeen, Maryland, the son of William Cray Spurling and Elenor Prior Spurling. He married the love of his life Lois Lutz on September 5, 1981. He loved to Arrowhead hunt, he spent so much time doing this. When he wasn’t arrowhead hunting he gardened and loved to spend time in nature and all it offered, birds, plants, any animal and camping. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about the plants and animals. He loved all of this but most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he enjoyed the time he got to spend with them and watching them grow up.

William is preceded in death by his parents William and Elenor Wilma Alfre Prior Spurling, and daughter Mary Lucy Wilson. He is survived by his Wife Lois Spurling, daughter Michelle (Robin) Hein of Bunceton, sister Shirley Hill of Pennsylvania, grandchildren Zachary (Linzie) Hein, Jacob (Ciara) Hein, Britni (Tanner) Wilson, and Mark Roberts, great-grandchildren, Malena, Lyla, Jaxson, Oakley, and William Hein, and numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces, and great- nephews.
