Wynona Faye (Graham) Turley

Wynona “Nonie” Faye Turley, 84, of Boonville passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at University Hospital in Columbia.

Visitation for Nonie will be 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. Saturday, March 14 at Howard Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 P.M. Private family burial will follow.

Wynona Faye Graham was born June 4, 1935 in Moniteau County, MO., the daughter of Lilburn Graham and Alma Fay Elliott Graham. She graduated Glasgow High School in 1953. She married Glenn Turley on April 23, 1955. Nonie worked for Angelo’s Printing for 17 years.  She owned “The Shoppe II”, a clothing store for women and was last employed at the license bureau when it was in the basement of the Hotel Fredrick. She loved to travel with Glenn on the trips he won through Sinclair Oil. Some of their favorites were Hawaii and Chicago. One of her favorite places to go was the Isle of Capri to eat and play her favorite slots. She enjoyed walking on the Katy Trial and loved hearing and telling a good joke. Nonie loved her grandkids, her grand dog Charlee and the St. Louis Cardinals. 

Nonie is preceded in death by her parents Lilburn and Alma Fay, brother, Willard Graham and sister, Joyce Graham. She is survived by her husband, Glenn of the home, daughters, Connie (Roger “Bucky”) O’Dell of Chesapeake Beach, MD., and Renee Cosner of Columbia, MO. She will be dearly missed by her grandsons, Daren (Lisa) Heckman, Micah (Sara) Dilse and Gage Dilse and great-grandchildren, Kayla, DJ and Briella Heckman and Olivia and Amelia Dilse.
